You know, the way we look at life — what we’re doing here and where we’re going—really shapes our attitude about what happens on the way.

Bertrand Russell, a respected intellectual thinker and skeptic of faith, once said, “The life of man is a long march through the night surrounded by invisible foes, tortured by weariness and pain toward a goal which few can hope to reach and where none may tarry long.”

His goal was worth everything!
Listen to the Apostle Paul, looking back over his life in  2 Timothy. Yes, he acknowledges it was toil and persecution in his pursuit, but listen to the difference in his attitude. He said, "But the Lord stood by me and gave me strength ... The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and save me for his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen." (2 Timothy 4:17-18 NRS)

His goal was worth everything and made everything endured along the way worthwhile!
